A design that is intuitive, feels right to the user. It is efficient, comprehensible and responsive. It also provides a sense of reliability. The most reliable websites, for example are user-friendly and provide the desired results. Users will search for a different website if one isn’t up to par with their expectations.

It requires a team of people to design intuitive products. Product designers, UX designer and product managers must work together to develop an product that is go to the website compatible with the mental model of how it should operate. This is not an easy task. Different people have different mental models based on the age, experience with a product, their knowledge and beliefs, and also their concentration level.

During the design phase it is crucial to incorporate usability testing into a part of the overall design. This will help you identify design elements that aren’t in line with the mental model of the user and correct them prior to releasing the product.

When it comes to a natural design, form has to be in line with function, but it’s essential to involve the user in the design process from the very beginning. Asking the product owner to detail what they’re planning to accomplish with the product and how they intend to achieve their goal is an excellent place to begin. The information will then be passed to the UX designer who will incorporate it into the product UI.
